Dale and Jordan took our base ideas, understood what we were trying to accomplish, and ran it through their design process.Д¬lever visual design is a real art form and can take a game to whole new levels, where access to complexity is simple, structures become dynamic and fluid, and a playerвЂ™s focus stays on the table, not digging through a rule book or consulting a multitude of charts. What is great about our team is the different creative processes that combine to create things well beyond what any one person could. That is useful in some situations, however, when trying to bring a game to the tabletop, information needs to be accessible and easily understood by new players. I am a data nerd and writer and take a while to come to the point. Our Art Director and our Lead Artist had a look at Centurion and applied their processes to it. We had designed the system to allow new players an easy way to get into the game, whilst ensuring depth and more game play elements for experienced players. Centurion formed the basis of the tabletop components of the RIGS, and our plan is that if you know Centurion, transitioning to the other tabletop games will be a relatively simple proposition.ДЄ couple of months back, before the Beta 1 was released, I talked with you about the 3-tiered structure we had developed for the RIGS on the tabletop, with each level adding more immersion and interesting features.
